WEST POINT, N.Y. – Junior Jordan Fox of the Army West Point men's basketball team has been named the Army West Point Athlete of the Week.
Fox earns his first praise of the year after scoring a career-high 33 points in the Black Knights' victory at Marist.
The Jackson County, Ky., native matched an Army West Point single-game record with nine made 3-pointers in the game. He also added five rebounds and five assists in the win. Fox scored 10 points as well, to go along with six rebounds and five assists in a win over John Jay College earlier in the week. The junior averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game during the Black Knights' 2-0 week.
He and the rest of the Black Knights are back in action Tuesday when they host Columbia for another out-of-conference game at 7 p.m. in Christl Arena.
