WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point football team returns to action at the historic Michie Stadium this Saturday when Temple visits West Point for a 12 p.m. game. Army fans are invited to arrive early for a visit to Black Knights Alley.
After going through a security checkpoint to enter the area surrounding Michie, fans will only be required to display their tickets once entering the stadium. No tickets are required for the fan fest area.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early on Saturday to take part in the multitude of fan activities offered on football game days at West Point including Black Knights Alley. Please visit ARMYgameday.com for all game day information.
Approximately two hours before kickoff, Army's football team members and coaches will participate in Black Knight Walk and parade through the heart of Black Knights Alley en route to the team locker room. Fans are encouraged to attend and support the Black Knights as they get set for kickoff versus the Owls.
Black Knights Alley will open at 9 a.m. Saturday morning and will be open until the game begins. The fan fest area is located along Mills Road between Michie Stadium and Lusk Reservoir. Black Knights Alley will be open three hours prior to kickoff for all home games this season and features live music, inflatables for kids, food and beverage, beer tent, face painting, a different interactive sport every game, tailgate show, as well as other vendors.
Saturday afternoon's Black Knights Alley activities will feature Coca-Cola inflatables. The Army Football Tailgate Show will hit the air live from outside Gate 1 beginning at 10 a.m.
Members of Army baseball and men's and women's cross country will be on hand taking part in interactive stations and face painting with fans.
Army West Point Athletics is doing its part to help end relationship abuse. In conjunction with the Its On Us campaign, along with our work with the One Love Foundation, members of the men's and women's lacrosse team, CASHA and the community are pushing to end relationship abuse and promote healthy relationships. Our goal is to beat last year's pushup campaign of 15k over the course of the weekend.Â
The fan fest area will also include displays and representatives from Amheuser-Busch, Navy Federal Credit Union, USAA and Coca-Cola will be featured along the Alley.
Parking lots open at 6 a.m. Saturday with stadium gates opening at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.GoArmyWestPoint.com/tickets, in person at the Army West Point Ticket Office at Gate 3 of Michie Stadium or by calling 1-877-TIX-ARMY.
