Coaches Comments
- Mike Smith - Director of Track and Field/Cross Country "We had some men really step up today. If we wanted to accomplish our goals, we need to rise to a new level of good. I saw that from a lot of our men this weekend. This team is starting to figure things out. Jeff Giannetino looked very good in the high jump and came within one centimeter of our school record in dominating the meet. We tried a different combination in our men's 4x400 meter relay and had a result that should put us near the top of the conference. We competed well across the board on the oval and in the field and we had better marks today than last weekend. That is what I expect to happen. We need to get better each week. If we do that we will be where we need to be when it counts.
