BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's soccer team came back from a one-goal deficit in the second half to force a 1-1 draw with St. Francis Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon at Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 5.

The Black Knights move to 2-3-1 after the draw, while the Terriers go to 2-3-2.

Senior Nick Williams scored his third goal of the season in the 75th minute after burying a quick pass from freshman Zac McGraw. Junior Marcos Arroyo helped set up the goal, with a free kick that McGraw flicked on to Williams.

Williams' goal tied the match at 1-1 after Leonard Krischner found the back of the net for the hosts in the eighth minute.

"That was one of our best overall team efforts this season," said head coach Russell Payne. "We gutted it out in a tough away environment and that sets us up well for our first Patriot League game on Friday against Navy."

After the tie, Army moves to 2-1-2 in its all-time series against St. Francis Brooklyn.
Williams scored his third goal of the season to match his goal total from 2015.
Arroyo and McGraw tallied their first career points with their assists.
Junior Christian Nolasco finished with four saves in goal for the Black Knights.
St. Francis Brooklyn held a one shot advantage in both total shots (13-12) and shots on goal (5-4).

KEY MOMENT

Williams was the recipient of a quick pass from McGraw on a goal that Arroyo facilitated after taking a free kick. The 75th-minute goal tied the score at 1-1 as Army finished with its first draw of the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED

St. Francis Brooklyn opened the scoring with a goal from Kirschner in the eighth minute.
Williams connected on a pass from McGraw that came as the result of a well-placed free kick from Arroyo.
