Lindner, Rosoff Named to All-Patriot League Teams

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Junior Kris Lindner and sophomore Jon Rosoff represent Army West Point baseball among the 24 athletes on the All-Patriot League teams after the league announced the selections Tuesday morning.
Lindner was named to the first team at shortstop as one of four unanimous selections, while Rosoff was a second team selection at catcher.
Lindner was the team's leading hitter throughout the year after starting 46 of the team's 48 games at shortstop. His .315 clip led the Black Knights and ranked 10th league wide, recording a team-high 52 hits in 165 at bats. The Morehead City, N.C., native's on-base percentage of .430 ranked fourth among Patriot League hitters, while his 14 stolen bases placed him second. His 13 hit by pitches was the most in the Patriot League. He also led Army with 35 runs scored, eight doubles, 21 walks and a slugging percentage of .394.
Rosoff made 43 starts throughout the season between six different positions, the majority of those coming behind the plate. His .314 average was second on the team, finishing just behind Lindner. Â The Durham, N.C., native went 44-for-140 with three doubles, a triple and scored 18 runs while driving in 16.
