Danielle Etrasco Selected in UWLX Draft

BOSTON – Army West Point women's lacrosse assistant coach Danielle Etrasco was selected as the 28th pick in the first-ever United Women's Lacrosse League (UWLX) Draft on Wednesday evening. UWLX is first professional women's lacrosse league in the country.

Etrasco was one of 10 selections by the Boston Storm, one of four teams that will compete in the UWLX, along with the Baltimore Ride, the Long Island Sound and the Philadelphia Force.

A two-time All-American at Boston University, Etrasco has been a member of the United States National Team since 2013 and helped Team USA to a gold medal at the 2013 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Cup.

Etrasco is currently in the midst of her second season as an assistant coach at Army, and has helped guide the program to Division I status in the 2016 campaign.
