A Day Closer to Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl

WEST POINT - The Army West Point football team took the field at Gerald J. Ford Stadium at Southern Methodist University for its fourth practice prior to the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl.
The Black Knights had a shortened practice today, which was made up of special team periods and team drills. The weather was the best of the four days Army has practiced with mostly cloudy skies with a strong wind going through the stadium.
There were a couple of highlight plays during the practice. John Voit had an interception during defensive team drills as he dropped back and reached up and snatched the ball out of the air. Voit then turned around and spiked the ball with authority as his teammates celebrated. Jalen Sharp recorded an interception towards the end of practice as he jumped in front of the receiver and caught it with one hand. Sharp's other arm was being held back by the receiver.
To finish out the day, the Black Knights went to see Star Wars: Rogue One at a local movie theater as part of the bowl festivities.
Army is back out on the field tomorrow for its final warm up prior to the the bowl game. The Black Knights we go through their walk through at the Cotton Bowl at 10 a.m.
