Parsons, Everett Shift in National Rankings

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Senior co-captains Logan Everett and Russ Parsons shifted in this week's national polls, released by InterMat, FloWrestling and The Open Mat on Tuesday.
Although they did not compete last weekend, Parsons climbed in each poll, while Everett moved up in The Open Mat's rankings and staying the same in the other two.
Parsons moved up one spot in both the InterMat and FloWrestling rankings to 16th and 12th, respectively. The largest improvement of the week came in The Open Mat poll, when the Clinton, N.J., native jumped three spots to 12th. He currently sports a team-best record of 13-3 with eight bonus point victories (five technical falls and three major decsions).
Everett remained at 15th in the InterMat and FloWrestling polls, while climbing one spot to 13th according to The Open Mat. The Tioga, Pa., native sports a 13-5 record, including four bonus point victories with three falls and a major decision.
The Black Knights return to the mat on Jan. 5, at the American Duals where they will face Wyoming (3 p.m.), North Carolina (5 p.m.) and host American (7 p.m.).
