Army West Point Partners With CSC For Event Management
August 20, 2015 | Athletics
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point athletics will rely on Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC) for crowd management and event management, Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan announced today.
CSC will provide ushering, ticket taking, access control, premium services, guest services and gameday campus ambassadors for contests at Michie Stadium, Christl Arena, Tate Rink, Shea Stadium and other special events around West Point.
"We are excited to bring CSC to West Point," said Corrigan. "The fan experience at our events is one of our top priorities and partnering with an industry leader will ensure our events are well run and safe. We spent 18 months evaluating our game management program from several vantage points and to provide an unparalleled fan experience we made the switch to CSC."
Established in 1967, CSC clients include more than 150 stadiums, more than 100 universities, more than 30 convention centers, teams from all four professional sports leagues as well as NASCAR. CSC has provided services for major national events including bowl games, NCAA Tournaments, President's Cup golf, U.S. Open tennis, 30 Super Bowls, 10 Olympic Games, four presidential inaugurations, two papal visits and two FIFA World Cups.
CSC's West Point operations will be led by branch manager Mike Fogel and the New York City branch which also handles the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Correy Field, Lawrence A. Wien Stadium and the Jacobs K. Javits Convention Center.
CSC West Point is currently seeking qualified applicants for all positions. If interested in employment with the company, please email the on-site management team at westpoint@csc-usa.com.
For additional information, visit Contemporary Services Corporation at csc-usa.com/newyorkcity.
CSC will be fully staffed for the season-opening football game at Michie Stadium on Sept. 4.
