Jesse Glenn Competes at Winter Cup Challenge

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Representing Army in the preliminary round of the Winter Cup Challenge, junior Jesse Glenn posted an all-around score of 77. 250 to finish 41st overall.
In addition, he also placed 14th on high bar, besting some of the nation's top performers.
This is the third time Glenn has competed in the event. He first took part in 2011 and again as a freshman at Army in 2013.
He started the evening off on high bar, posting a score of 14.100, tops in his group. For rotation two, they moved to floor exercise where he earned a score of 13.700. A slight misstep on pommel earned the Porter Ranch, Calif., native a mark of 12.650.
Through three rotations he sat in 17th place in Session II with a score of 40.450.
On rings, he earned a mark of 12.050 and followed that up with a score of 13.150 on vault. He concluded his evening on parallel bars, taking a slight tumble but finishing his routine for a score of 11.600.
The junior's weekend comes to an end following Thursday's action, as he did not advance to the final round.
