NAME: Stephen Snyder
HOMETOWN: Woodbine, Md.
MAJOR: Law
FAVORITE ATHLETE: Kobe Bryant. Love the way he competes.
FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM: Washington Capitals
BEST PART OF ARMY WRESTLING: The brotherhood. Our team is very close and it’s an awesome organization to be a part of.
FAVORITE VENUE TO WRESTLE AT: We wrestled at Madison Square Garden this past season. That was a great experience.
HOW ARE YOU SPENDING YOUR SUMMER: I am going to CLDT and then I will be a Platoon Leader for the second detail of CBT.
TO RELAX, I: Head to the beach. I don’t have time to go very often but there isn’t anything more relaxing then a great day on the beach.
FAVORITE MEAL: Maryland Crabs. Nothing better.
FAVORITE VACATION SPOT: Nassau, Bahamas
MY IPOD HAS: Kenny Chesney, Jack Johnson
FAVORITE PART OF AN ARMY MATCH DAY: Coming together as a team and getting the win.
FAVORITE PART OF WEST POINT: Kimsey Athletic Center
DESCRIBE ARMY WRESTLING: I am extremely lucky to be on a team with the group of guys that we have. Everyone on the team is pretty close with each other and looks out for each other. Everyone pushes the guy they train with to improve and develop. We are lucky to have a team with so many tough individuals that want to win.
WHAT WRESTLER WILL SURPRISE PEOPLE IN 2014-15: Austin Wilding
STRONGEST WRESTLER ON TEAM: I am the strongest guy on the team. I am a heavyweight though so that has something to do with it.
FUNNIEST WRESTLER ON TEAM: Hunter Wood is a really funny guy.
WHAT TEAM THAT IS NOT ON OUR SCHEDULE WOULD YOU LIKE TO PLAY AND WHY: Ohio State. My little brother is wrestling for them at 197lbs next year. It would be really cool to compete against his team.
I FOLLOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ON TWITTER: I only follow 5 or 6 people on twitter. I don’t spend much time on it.
