Dumrauf Joins Athletic Communications Staff

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Kelly Dumrauf has joined the Army Office of Athletic Communications as an Athletic Communications Assistant, where she will serve as the primary contact for cross country, track and field, gymnastics and women's tennis.
Dumrauf joins the West Point staff after spending the last year as the Assistant Sports Information Director at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). While there, she served as the primary contact for eight of the department's 19 varsity sports, including the nationally ranked men's basketball team. She was in charge of the department's social media efforts, hiring of the intern and volunteer staff and assisted with the athletic department's website redesign.
She also served as a student assistant at IUP from 2012-13 where she was responsible for the sports information department's social media outreach, as well as providing website content.
In addition to her intercollegiate athletic experience, Dumrauf worked with the Pittsburgh Pirates as a Media Relations Intern during the 2012 MLB season. She assisted the communications staff with credentialing the media, press box management, providing in-game assistance to the media and obtaining video footage of the team's postgame press conferences.
Dumrauf graduated from IUP in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a Bachelor of Science degree Sport Management.
A native of Grove City, Pa., she currently resides in Highland Falls, N.Y.
