Nick Lantz Joins Athletic Communications Staff

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Nick Lantz has joined the Army Office of Athletic Communications in the role of Athletic Communications Assistant, where he will serve as the primary sport contact for sprint football, wrestling and men’s tennis.
Lantz comes to West Point after spending the 2013-14 academic year as a Sports Information Assistant at Post University in Waterbury, Conn. He was the primary contact for volleyball and softball, as well as a secondary contact for men’s basketball and baseball.
During his time in Connecticut, Lantz also worked as a Statistics Associate for ESPN in the Stats and Analysis department. He monitored incoming feeds and updated men’s and women’s basketball scores on ESPN.com and BottomLine.
Lantz spent most of 2013 writing as a Featured Columnist for Bleacher Report, part of the Turner Sports Network, mainly covering the New England Patriots. The Temple University graduate earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies in the spring of 2013.
A native of Dover, N.H., Lantz currently resides in Highland Falls, N.Y.
