Mohrman Joins Athletic Communications Staff

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Mark Mohrman has joined the Army Office of Athletic Communications in the role of Assistant Director, where he will serve as the primary sport contact for volleyball, men's basketball and baseball. Mohrman comes to West Point from Lafayette College, where he spent the previous three years in the Office of Athletic Communications and Promotions.
Mohrman held the position of Assistant Sports Information Director at Lafayette for two years and worked with men's basketball, baseball, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's tennis. In his first year with the Leopards, Mohrman was an Athletic Communications Assistant and worked with a number of Lafayette's programs, including field hockey, track and field and men's and women's lacrosse.
During his tenure in Easton, Pa. Mohrman supervised a complete redesign of GoLeopards.com, managed Lafayette's social media presence and was responsible for overseeing its graphic design elements.
Mohrman arrived at Lafayette after spending his last two years in college as a student assistant in Athletic Communications at Monmouth University, where he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in May 2011.
During his time at Monmouth, Mohrman worked at WMCX 88.9 FM, Monmouth University Radio, where he supervised all aspects of sports broadcasts as Sports Director and Executive Board member for three years.
In 2009, Mohrman served as a Stadium Operations Intern for the Camden Riversharks of Atlantic League Baseball. The next two seasons, Mohrman served on the production staff for the Lakewood BlueClaws, the Single-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
A native of Mickleton, N.J., Mohrman currently resides in Cornwall, N.Y.
