TEAM
- Army fell to 0-3 all-time against Hawai’i, including an 0-2 mark at Aloha Stadium.
- Army wore its all white uniforms with white pants and white jerseys with gold helmets.
- Army will play its final game of the 2013 season Dec. 14 in Philadelphia in the Army-Navy Game presented by USAA.
OFFENSE
- Center Ryan Powis started his 18th consecutive game and the 28th of his career, the most of anyone on the offense.
- Army started the same five men on the line for the 11th consecutive game: Michael Kime (left tackle), Stephen Shumaker (left guard), Powis, Zach Reichert (right guard) and Justin Gilbert (right tackle).
- Sophomore Matt Giachinta made his first career start at fullback
- Army did not score on its opening possession, just the fourth time this year Army has not scored on its first possession. Army has scored a touchdown five times and kicked two field goals on its initial possession.
- Tony Giovannelli made his second career start at “C” back.
- A.J. Schurr rushed for a two-yard score in the third quarter, his first career rushing touchdown. He finished with four rushing scores.
- Schurr rushed for 34 yards in the third quarter, his career-best.
- Schurr established his career best with 122 passing yards.
- Terry Baggett went over the 1,000-yard mark for the season. He now has 1,072 yards on 130 carries. It marked the 18th time a player has eclipsed the 1,000-yard and the first since Raymond Maples last season. Baggett is now 11th on Army’s single-season list.
DEFENSE
- Jarrett Mackey made the 27th start of his career and has started 10 straight games.
- Hayden Pierce was listed as the starter at rover.
- James Kelly made his second start of the season.
- Sophomore Chris Carnegie made his first career interception, snaring a pass in the end zone in the first quarter. Carnegie finished with a career-high 13 tackles.
- Shaquille Tolbert forced a fumble for the second time this season.
- Josh Jenkins returned the fumble 19 yards, his first career fumble recovery.
- Colby Miller made 13 tackles, the second time in his career he registered double-digit stops.
SPECIAL TEAMS
- Daniel Grochowski converted all six of his point-after touchdown attempts and is now 36-for-36 on the season.
- Alex Tardieu’s 56-yard first-quarter punt is a career-best.
- Andrew King recovered an on-sides kick in the third quarter. It is the second consecutive game Army recovered an on-sides kick, although the recovery against Western Kentucky was nullified by a penalty.
