Katie Macfarlane, a 2004 graduate, is being honored after her decorated career on the basketball court. She remains Army’s all-time scoring leader with 1,941 points and established Army and Patriot League career standards with 1,143 rebounds. The 2004 Patriot League Player of the Year, Macfarlane was a three-time selection by the All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association, including first team accolades her final season.
The winner of the prestigious Army Athletic Association award in 2004, Macfarlane averaged 16.6 points per game during her career, was a two-time captain and is one of just 12 players to be named all-league in four seasons. She was a 12-time Patriot League Player of the Week selection, posted 48 career double-doubles and was a two-time selection to the league’s All-Tournament squad.
