Christian Anderson Joins Athletic Communications Staff

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army Athletic Association has announced the hiring of Christian Anderson as an Assistant Director in the Office of Athletic Communications. Anderson arrives at West Point after serving a three-year stint as the Sports Information Director at Norwich University in Northfield, Vt.
A native of South Sutton, N.H., Anderson returns to West Point after serving a four-year term in a similar capacity from 2003-07. He will serve as the primary point of contact for the sports of men's lacrosse, men's soccer, wrestling and swimming and diving. Anderson will also assist gameday operations at home football contests this fall.
During his time at Norwich, Anderson spearheaded the redesign of the school's official athletics web site, which launched in November 2007. He also helped broker an agreement between Norwich and Northeast Sports Network to provide live video streamed broadcasts of every home NU football and men's ice hockey game. The package has recently been broadened to include a total of 50 athletics and university events.
Anderson graduated from Syracuse University's prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations. During his undergraduate career, he assisted in the Syracuse University Athletic Communications office.
He holds credentials in both CoSIDA and ECAC-SIDA, and has won several CoSIDA awards for his work on various publications.
Anderson currently resides at West Point.
