Friday May 28 - Shutting It Down For The Summer
May 28, 2010 | General
Good morning loyal Black Knight Blog readers and thanks for stopping by on this lovely Friday morning. Ryan Yanoshak joining you as we head into a four-day weekend, one I am pretty sure all of our office is going to take advantage of.
Unfortunately, the large majority of our sports teams are done - with the exception of track and field - and the office will be dark on Monday. No doubt The Coach will sneak in for a few hours but unlike last year when baseball was still playing and postseason notes, the selection show and special web pages had to be designed, it should be pretty quite here as everyone enjoys the long weekend.
We have been incredibly lax in our daily blog entries and I am sending a collective apology for our failure to post updates on a daily bases.
With graduation and the POTUS visit in the rearview mirror and the cadets off on leave or summer training, there are plenty of parking spots in our lot, always a good sign that summer is approaching.
And in the summer, as you know, we shut down the BK Blog. With no sports happening, vacations, professional development and some time off, this will be the last entry for the summer.
We will continue to update our auctions page and will post occasionally as the situation calls for it. We are always interested in hearing from our audience so if you have ideas/suggestions/feedback please feel free to reach out.
Some things to keep in mind as the humidity rises: New golf and wrestling head coaches will be announced, the new class of plebes begins summer training in July, our popular coaches caravans will continue this summer and football season begins Sept. 4 at Eastern Michigan.
Don't forget the sunscreen and have a great summer.
Go Army!
