Why did you decide to come to West Point? What were some of the deciding factors? Who or what influenced your decision?
I wanted a chance to serve my country, get a good education, and have a chance to play golf. West Point gave me all of these opportunities
What does it mean to you to be able to play golf at West Point?
It's awesome because I always have something to look forward to. Unlike other sports, golf is both seasons. In the fall, we play Navy and the chance to beat them has been my most enjoyable golf experience
What is the best thing about being an athlete at West Point?
Getting a chance to travel and get away during the school year
What is the most difficult thing?
It's really tough a lot of times to keep up with schoolwork - there's been several times where I've had to stay up until 2 or 3 on a trip to finish a paper and then wake up in a few hours and play
What is your fondest memory at West Point?
-In sports?
Beating Navy
-Outside of sports?
Spending time w/ my friends on the team during time off
What adjustments have you had to make since arriving here?
-Socially- learning to work with people you might not like
-Athletically- Getting better while having less time to work with
-Academically- Staying up really late to finish things and being able to survive the next day
What do you enjoy doing during your "down time"? Sleeping and hanging out with guys on the team
What is your major and what is the most interesting thing you've learned here?
Engineering Management, different experiences of instructors in the Army
Which branch are you planning on entering following graduation?
Armor
What is the best thing about being a cadet at West Point?
Meeting friends I will have for life
