Why did you decide to come to West Point? What were some of the deciding factors? Who or what influenced your decision?
I decided to come to West Point for the Education and for the opportunity to shoot on a nationally ranked rifle team
What does it mean to you to be able to shoot at West Point?
It means a lot to me to be on the rifle team as west point, especially as captain. This programs is a winning program with a storied past and its great to be able to carry on that tradition.
What is the best thing about being an athlete at West Point?
Being able to travel around the country and compete as part of a NCAA division one program.
What is the most difficult thing?
Trying to juggle academics, athletics, and social interests. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough time for all of them.
What is your fondest memory at West Point?
-In sports?
Watching my three teammates win first, second, and third at the NCAA championships individually.
-Outside of sports?
Completing air assault school.
What adjustments have you had to make since arriving here?
-Socially
You have to get used to a lack of social life and a social life that is constrained to military norms and courtesies.
-Athletically
A heavier practice schedule and demand for performance than I had in high school.
