WEST POINT, N.Y. - Head men's basketball coach Zach Spiker and women's basketball mentor Dave Magarity will be the featured guests during a winter radio show on Thursday, Feb. 25 at the Thayer Hotel.
Similar to the setup for fall shows that concentrate on football, the Thayer Hotel will again serve as at the site for the one-hour broadcast that will begin at 7 p.m.
Assistant Athletic Director Rich DeMarco will serve as the host and discuss regular season successes, playoff possibilities and much more with both basketball coaches. Army hockey head coach Brian Riley is traveling with the team and not available for the show.
Food and beverage specials will be offered on Thursday and fans in attendance at the interactive program will have an opportunity to win prizes and ask questions of the head coaches.
Coming off a huge win against Navy, Spiker will talk about his first year at West Point, the strong contributions of the senior class, winning the "Star" game and playoff scenarios.
Magarity, now in his fourth season as the head women's coach, will touch on a number of topics, including leading a team with no seniors and the upcoming Patriot League playoffs.
ITT Knight Vision as well as WALL 13-40-AM out of Middletown, N.Y., and WEOK 1390-AM out of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., will also carry the shows.
