WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army Athletic Association will host three radio shows that focus on the winter sports, spring football and spring sports with the first show set for next Thursday, Feb. 25.
Similar to the setup for fall radio shows that concentrate on football, the Thayer Hotel will again serve as at the site for the one-hour broadcasts.
New men's basketball coach Zach Spiker, women's basketball coach Dave Magarity and depending on travels schedules, possibly hockey coach Brian Riley, will be the featured guests on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. Assistant Athletic Director Rich DeMarco will serve as the host and discuss regular season successes, playoff possibilities and much more with each of the head coaches.
The March 25 show, also scheduled for 7 p.m., will focus on the annual spring game, set for March 27, as well as the upcoming season and provide a glimpse into off-season football.
The spring sport coaches will be at the forefront on April 29 for the third installment. Lacrosse coach Joe Alberici, baseball coach Joe Sottolano and first-year softball coach Michelle DePolo will all be featured and provide a look into their regular season as well as Patriot League playoffs.
Fans in attendance at the interactive program will have an opportunity to win prizes and ask questions of the head coaches. Food and drink specials will be offered as well.
ITT Knight Vision as well as WALL 13-40-AM out of Middletown, N.Y., and WEOK 1390-AM out of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., will also carry the shows.
