Marketing Launches Cadet Weekend Rewards Program

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army Athletic Association will launch its Cadet Weekend Rewards Program beginning with this weekend's women's basketball Patriot League opener against Colgate on Saturday at 6 p.m. A total of six games will be included in the newly launched program, which in conjunction with the United States Corps of Cadets will offer cadets reward points for their attendance at weekend home men's and women's basketball games.
In an effort to drive cadet attendance at home basketball games, each cadet must begin the simple process by picking up an official reward card at the Army Ticket Office located in the Holleder Center. Reward cards will be available the day of each game and lists each of the remaining home basketball games taking place on a weekend (excluding Army-Navy on Feb. 20). For each game attended, cadets will get their card punched behind the North end bleachers no earlier than before the end of halftime.
For each event attended, cadets will receive more rewards to include PMI, no WAMI up to Performance Passes. A listing of exact events and rewards are listed below, along with a listing of the games included in the initiative. Cadet rewards cannot be redeemed until after Feb. 27.

One of the hottest teams in the Patriot League this season, the mens' basketball team is off to an impressive 10-4 start under the direction of first-year head coach Zach Spiker. The Black Knights sit atop the Patriot League standings and hit the road for its first Patriot League test of the season at Colgate on Saturday afternoon. The women's basketball team authored a 6-8 mark throughout the course of non-league play and will face-off against Colgate in the Patriot League opener for the sixth year in a row. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. at Christl Arena.
