Army 'A' Club Begins 2010 Campaign
January 25, 2010 | General
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army ‘A’ Club has begun receiving contributions for the 2010 campaign. The “A” Club will continue to build on successful 2009 when the annual fund eclipsed $3 million for the third consecutive year.
The Army “A” Club provides members with benefits such as premium parking at football games, preferred seat location at various events, and priority points. However, most “A” Club members consider enhancing the cadet-athletes’ experience during their time at the West Point, the greatest benefit of all.
“The generosity of the West Point alumni, fans, and supporters was truly amazing in 2009. The economy affected everyone, yet our supporters continued to go above and beyond for West Point’s cadet-athletes,” said Assistant Athletic Director for Development, Doug Fillis. “We work hand-in-hand with the West Point Association of Graduates to support our cadets; it remains a very success formula. Along with the annual fund, West Point graduates and supporters continue to provide support for our athletic endowments, special projects, and athletic facilities.”
The annual ‘A’ Club information packet, including 2010 ‘A” Club benefits, football season ticket information and Army vs. Navy and Army vs. Notre Dame ticket information, will be mailed by March 15.
Individuals interested in supporting West Point’s cadet-athletes may send a check to the Army ‘A’ Club at 639 Howard Road, West Point, N.Y. 10996, make a credit card donation by calling 845-938-2322 or online by clicking here.
