What is Facebook?
Facebook is a free-access social networking website that allows users to join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region to connect and interact with other people. Users can also add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves and their favorite things.
How do I get a Facebook account?
Signing up for Facebook free, easy and anyone can join. Start by going to www.facebook.com and entering all of the required information in the Sign Up area. The information includes full name, email, password, gender and birthday. If you are a part of one of Facebook’s networks – high school, college, work – you will be given instructions on how to affiliate yourself with them. If you are not a member of one of these networks, you may still fulfill your Facebook account request by joining a region based on where you live. After you complete the sign up form, Facebook will then send you an email to the address that you previously provided to confirm your account.
How do I find and become a Facebook fan of the Army Black Knights?
Login to your Facebook account and in the search engine at the top right of the page, type in Army Black Knights. This will bring you to a page with a listing of all groups that may contain the words Army, Black and Knights. Select the Army Black Knights at the top of the listing with a type of Sports/Athletics. Army’s Facebook page is run in a corporate account format and allows the viewer to be privy to the latest on everything Black Knights. This particularly includes special ticket promotions and marketing initiatives, along with other news items posted similar to those posted on www.goARMYsports.com.
Once you locate the Army Black Knights official Facebook page, you will find a link in the upper left-hand corner that says “Become a Fan.” Once you have clicked on this, you are officially a fan of the Army Black Knights, a rapidly growing community that accumulated over 2,000 fans in the first month of existence. Once you are a fan of the Army Black Knights, one can also comment on postings, vote on polls, view photos and much more.
How do I inform my friends about the Army Black Knights Facebook page?
Login and go to the Army Black Knights page. In the upper left-hand corner of the page, click on the link that says “Suggest to Friends” and Facebook will bring up a list of your Facebook friends that you can then suggest become fans of the Army Black Knights.
