Army Athletics Set For Two Community Events Wednesday Evening

WEST POINT, N.Y. The Army Athletic Association will be participating in two community events this evening, Wednesday, July 1.
The third “Coaches Caravan” will stop in the Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston, N.Y. and feature men’s tennis coach Jim Poling, women’s volleyball coach Alma Kovaci and rifle coach Ron Wigger from 5 to 7 p.m.
In addition, members of the Army Athletics Association will be available at Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill, N.Y. for tonight’s Hudson Valley’s Renegades game beginning at 6 p.m.
The “Coaches Caravan” is a new outreach program that will allow fans the opportunity to ask questions of selected Army coaches and get autographs and photos as well purchase football tickets for the upcoming season.
Wednesday is the third of seven scheduled caravans taking place throughout the Hudson Valley in the next two months. Other dates and locations include: Kids Camps at the Middletown Galleria, July 7, from noon to 2 p.m.; the Poughkeepsie Galleria, July 15, from 5 to 7 p.m.; Kids Camps at the Poughkeepsie Galleria, July 21, from noon to 2 p.m.; and the Middletown Galleria, July 29, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Fans in attendance will have the chance to buy season tickets for the upcoming football season, a slate that includes promotions at all six home games. Season ticket plans begin at just $99.
The Army Athletic Association has also partnered with Dutchess Stadium and the lone professional baseball team in the Hudson Valley. Representatives from Army athletics will be available at selected home games this year to allow fans to purchase football tickets and answer questions about the Black Knights. The Army Athletic Association is also slated to be at Dutchess Stadium on July 16, August 4 and August 23.
