Army Coaches Caravan Makes Second Stop, In Poughkeepsie

WEST POINT, N.Y. The Army Athletic Associations’ “Coaches Caravan,” will make its second stop of the summer, Thursday evening outside the Poughkeepsie Train Station, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The new outreach program will allow fans the opportunity to ask questions of selected Army coaches and get autographs and photos as well purchase football tickets for the upcoming season.
Women’s basketball coach Dave Magarity, golf coach Jimmy Ray Clevenger, swimming and diving coach Mickey Wender and wide receivers coach Andy Guyader will gather in Poughkeepsie for the two-hour session to answer questions and meet Army fans.
Thursday is the second of seven scheduled caravans taking place throughout the Hudson Valley in the next two months. Other dates and locations include: The Kingston Mall, July 1, from 5 to 7 p.m.; Kids Camps at the Middletown Galleria, July 7, from noon to 2 p.m.; the Poughkeepsie Galleria, July 15, from 5 to 7 p.m.; Kids Camps at the Poughkeepsie Galleria, July 21, from noon to 2 p.m.; and the Middletown Galleria, July 29, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Fans in attendance will have the chance to buy season tickets for the upcoming football season, a slate that includes promotions at all six home games. Season ticket plans begin at just $99.
