Army "A" Club Embarks On 2010 Campaign

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army "A" Club has begun receiving contributions for the 2010 campaign. The "A" Club will continue to build on a very successful 2009 when the annual fund eclipsed $3 million for the third consecutive year.
"The generosity of the West Point alumni, fans, and supporters was truly amazing in 2009. The economy affected everyone, yet our supporters continued to go above and beyond for West Point's cadet-athletes," said Assistant Athletic Director for Development Doug Fillis. "We work hand-in-hand with the West Point Association of Graduates to support our cadets; it remains a very success formula. Along with the annual fund, West Point graduates and supporters continue to provide support for our athletic endowments, special projects, and athletic facilities."
The Army "A" Club provides members with benefits such as premium parking at football games, preferred seat location at various events, and priority points. However, most "A" Club members consider enhancing the cadet-athletes' experience during their time at the West Point, the greatest benefit of all.
The annual "A" Club information packet will be mailed by April 15. The "A"Club packet will include, 2010 A-Club benefits, 2010 season football ticket information, as well as Army-Navy and Army-Notre Dame ticket information.

2009 Tax Deduction Still Available for Army “A” Club Members

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army "A" Club would like to thank all of the generous contributors that made 2009 a terrific year in development for the Army Athletic Association. With the 2010 calendar year quickly approaching, "A" club members still have the opportunity to receive a tax deduction for 2009.
All gifts made to the Army "A" Club by Dec. 31, 2009, will be counted for tax purposes toward the 2009 calendar year. Benefits received from those gifts to the "A" Club such as parking, seat locations, and priority points will be designated for the 2010 football season. This is a tremendous option that allows members to continue to support the Black Knights and concurrently receive the 2009 tax deduction.

EMCOR Army "A" Club Golf Classic Set For Aug. 10

West Point, N.Y. – The Army “A” Club Golf Classic, presented by EMCOR, is set for Monday, Aug. 10, 2009. The outing will be held at the West Point Golf Course with registration beginning at 10:30 a.m. All proceeds will directly support cadet-athletes and the Army Athletic Association.
Several head coaches and department directors are scheduled to also golf in the event, giving participants a unique opportunity to interact with key members of the Army Athletic Association during a fun-filled afternoon on the course. The day includes lunch, use of the driving range and putting green, dinner and an awards ceremony. The golf classic will be a scramble format.

Army "A" Club Thanks You For Your Support In 2009

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army “A” Club would like thank each and every supporter who joined the Army “A” Club in 2009. As renewals continue to roll in to the “A” Club, the Army Athletic Association greatly appreciates the commitment of our supporters. The “A” Club will continue to build on the success of 2008 when the annual fund vaulted past the $3 million mark for the second consecutive year.
The Army “A” Club provides members with benefits such as premium parking at football games, preferred seat location at various events, and priority points. However, most “A” Club members consider enhancing the cadet-athletes’ experience during their time at West Point, the greatest benefit of all.
The “A” Club is continuing the very successful 110% Program in 2009. All members who give 110% of their gift from last year and new members who give at least $110 will receive ten Army Athletics stamps.
