WEST POINT, N.Y. Another avenue for Army fans to stay in tune with events happening at West Point will debut on Tuesday, July 22. The Office of Athletic Communications has developed the Black Knight Blog, which will be a running web log that offers fans an even more in-depth look into Army Athletics.
The blog will be updated as much as possible during the summer, as information warrants an entry, while the intention is to make it a daily routine when the fall season begins. Much like similar initiatives around the country, the Black Knight Blog’s intent is to provide fans with entertaining, pertinent nuggets of information that may not warrant a formal press release. In an effort to keep give fans as much inside information as possible about their favorite Black Knight teams, entries will include everything from what classes they take to what they eat for pregame meals.
Fans can access the entries by clicking on the “Black Knight Blog” button on www.goARMYsports.com beginning on Tuesday.
Under the direction of Senior Associate Athletic Director Bob Beretta, the Office of Athletic Communications also began in-game blogging last winter in an initiative that will continue into the 2008-09 academic year.
