Three Army Athletic Administrators Honored

PRINCETON, N.J. Army Athletic Association administrators Gene Marshall, Major Kim Kawamoto and Gene McIntyre were honored by the All-American Football Foundation at its 91st annual Banquet of Champions in Princeton, N.J., on Monday night.
Marshall was named the Outstanding Deputy Athletic Director while Major Kawamoto was honored as the Outstanding Senior Woman Administrator. McIntyre was recognized for his work as an Associate Athletic Director.
Marshall has been a Deputy Athletic Director at Army since July 2005 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the intercollegiate sports program. He serves as the Chief Operating Officer for all 25 intercollegiate sports with direct oversight of football, men's and women's basketball, ice hockey and lacrosse as well as administrative oversight for the Senior Women's Administrator, facilities, operations, marketing and promotions, logistics and external operations as well as all NCAA admissions and compliance issues. Summer camp operation is also under his direction.
Kawamoto, a former Army women’s basketball standout, serves a variety of roles as SWA, including oversight of NCAA sports while McIntyre works with recruiting and summer camps in his role as an Associate Athletic Director.
Army Director of Athletics Kevin Anderson received the General Robert R. Neyland Outstanding Athletic Director in December from the same organization.
Founded in 1994, the All-American Football Foundation is a nonprofit organization that annually awards 11 Colonel Red Blaik Scholarships and selects football all-America teams.
