Shuttle Bus Routes

Shuttle bus service will be operated by contract school buses. No fares will be collected. The shuttle transports spectators from outlying areas to the Central Post Area for the Brigade Review. Buses begin operating one-and a-half hours prior to the start of the review. Buses will stop shuttling at the start of the review. Return trips to the outlying areas will commence immediately after the review.
Parade Shuttle Routes
1. Handicapped Route (Handicapped Parking is located in H-Lot/Commissary parking lot): Buses will stage in front of the Commissary. The route is Stony Lonesome Road to Thayer extension and The Plain. After the parade, handicapped buses will return to H Lot, making drops at Gates 3 and 6 at Michie Stadium
2. Blue Route (North Parking Areas): Buses will stage at the north area parking lots (Ski Slope, Keller Hospital, Elementary School old post exchange K-Lot and North Athletic Field). The route is Washington Gate to Thayer Road Extension. After the parade, spectators will be picked up at Thayer Road Extension and returned to the north parking areas.
3. Red Route (Upper Lots): Buses will stage at H lot/Commissary. The route is Stony Lonesome Road to Thayer Extension. After the parade, spectators will be picked up at Thayer Extension and returned to upper lot parking areas.
4. Green Route (Two routes covering South Area): a) South Dock Area. Buses will stage at Williams Road. The route is Williams Road to Thayer Road to the rear of Taylor Hall. b) Buffalo Soldier Field. Buses will stage at Buffalo Soldier Field, in front of the Post Office. The route is Thayer Road to Thayer Road Extension.
5. Housing Shuttle: Parade shuttles start 45 minutes before the parade. (Three routes covering the housing areas): a) Lee Area -- Buses will stage at Lee Gate. The route is Lee Road to Washington Road to Thayer Road Extension. b) 500 Area -- Buses will stage at the intersection of Connor and Merritt Roads. The route is Connor Road to Moore Loop to Merritt Road to Washington Road to Thayer Road extension. c) Stony Lonesome Area -- Buses will stage on Continental Road/bldg. 3001. The route is Continental Road to Stony Lonesome Road to Mills Road (south) to Thayer Road to Thayer Extension.
After the parade, there is no shuttle bus returning to the housing areas. Housing buses will be used to transport housing occupants and spectators to the stadium.
Pre-game Stadium Shuttle Routes
The stadium shuttle bus transports spectators from outlying areas to Michie Stadium. The shuttle will begin immediately following the cadet review.
1. Handicapped Shuttle Service (Handicapped Parking Area): Handicapped buses will transport to Gates 3 and 6 at Michie Stadium from H-Lot/ Commissary parking lot.
2. Blue Route (North Parking Areas, Target Field and Thayer Extension): Spectators will be transported from Ski Slope, Keller Hospital, Elementary School and along Washington Road, from Target Field and Thayer Extension onto Washington Road, to Bruckner Hill Road, left onto Merrit, right onto Delafield Road. Left turn onto Stony Lonesome Road, (as you pass thought the Blocking Point), move into the far left lane and discharge passengers in the vicinity of the Flight Memorial.
3. Red Route (Upper Lots): Spectators in Commissary parking/PX lot and upper lots will be transported Southbound on Stony Lonesome Road, continue to F-Lot entrance, make a 3 point turn. Travel northbound on Stony lonesome Road, discharge passengers in the vicinity of Gate 6.
4. Green Route (Two shuttles, South Dock and Buffalo Soldier Field): Pick-up points for spectators are Williams Road and Buffalo Soldier Field. Travel Northbound on Mills Road, discharge passengers at the intersection of Mills and Howze Place. Left on Howze Place Southbound on Fenton Place.
5. Housing Shuttle Service: Stadium shuttles start 1 hour before the kickoff. (Three routes in housing): Pick-up points for spectators are Lee Road and 500 areas, discharging passengers in the vicinity of the Flight Memorial.
Stony Lonesome buses will travel along Continental Road and discharge passengers just north of Gate 6.
Post-game Shuttle Service
The post-game shuttle bus service transports spectators from Michie Stadium to the parking and housing areas. Buses will be staged at the stadium and will depart when fully loaded.
1. Handicapped Shuttle Service (H-Lot/Commissary lot): Spectators will be picked up at Gate 3 and Gate 6. Buses will transport handicapped spectators to the Commissary parking lot via Stony Lonesome Road.
2. Blue Route, Lee and 500 Area: Buses will stage in the vicinity of Flight Memorial and transport spectators to Thayer Extension, Target Field, old post exchange, Lee Housing, Elementary School, Keller Hospital, Ski Slope and along Washington Road for the 500 Housing area.
3. Red Route and Stony Lonesome Housing: Buses stage in front of the Kimsey Center and transport spectators to upper Lots and Stony Lonesome Housing.
4. Green Route (South Areas): Buses will stage on Howze Place and transport spectators down Mills Road to Swift Road. Continue onto Thayer Road to the rear of Taylor Hall (in the MOAT), and onto South Dock.
