Knight Vision Subscriptions Now Available

WEST POINT, N.Y. As the Army Athletic Association continues to grow its multi-media platform at a rapid pace, Black Knight fans around the world will gain more access than ever before to Army’s intercollegiate athletic events.
Partnered with XOs Technologies, www.goARMYsports.com, the official Web site of the Army Athletic Association, offers fans a subscription-based package titled Knight Vision." Through Knight Vision, fans gain multi-media access to over 200 scheduled live and archived events throughout the course of the academic year to include audio and video streaming of game action, postgame shows, press conferences, coaches’ shows and weekly press conferences.
While Knight Vision has carried a live audio stream of events such as the weekly football coach’s show, Army Football Tailgate Show and football postgame and Tuesday press conferences in the past, live video streams of those events will be available for the first time this fall. The Army Athletic Association will also debut a new wrapup show following all home football games. A live video stream of “Army Overtime Online” will be carried at www.goARMYsports.com via Knight Vision immediately following the conclusion of each home contest and include live video streaming of Army’s postgame press conferences, player interviews and commentary.
In addition to those exciting new initiatives, Knight Vision will also broadcast live video streams of an unprecedented amount of intercollegiate athletic events to include game casts from women’s volleyball, and men’s and women’s soccer for the first time this fall. Other sports included in Army’s online video streaming package for the 2007-08 academic year include men’s and women’s basketball, hockey, wrestling, lacrosse, baseball and softball. Knight Vision will also carry the Army Sports Network radio call of all 12 Black Knights’ regular season football contests and its preceding pregame shows.
All of these events will be archived and available to subscribers on an unlimited basis throughout the season as will special audio and video entries from Army’s history vault that will be posted on Army’s Web site periodically.
Monthly and yearly subscription packages for Knight Vision are now available for purchase on Army’s official Web site at www.goARMYsports.com. For $9.95, fans can purchase monthly subscriptions to Knight Vision. Annual subscriptions are available at a rate of $69.95 and remain the most economical option for Army fans.
For a limited time, fans purchasing a full year subscription will receive three extra months of Knight Vision service at no additional charge. This “15-for-12" promotion runs through Sept. 30, 2007.
In addition to the full slate of live events carried on Knight Vision, the burgeoning multi-media platform will carry a comprehensive weekly schedule that will be announced in the days ahead. Those features will be available at no charge.
The first scheduled Army live event available on Knight Vision will be head football coach Stan Brock’s first weekly Tuesday press conference of the season (Aug. 28), beginning at noon, in advance of the Black Knights’ football season opener against Akron in the FirstMerit Patriot Bowl on Sept. 1. Other football events slated to be carried on Knight Vision next week include the “This Week in Army Football” weekly radio show on Thursday (7:30-8:30 p.m., from West Point’s First Class Club), the “Army Football Tailgate Show” on Saturday (5-6:30 p.m., from Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio), the “Army Football Pregame Show” on Saturday (6:30-7 p.m., from Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio) and the Army versus Akron football game call on Saturday (7-10 p.m., from Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio).
