July 23, 2007 | General
WEST POINT, N.Y. Historic Michie Stadium continues to appear on lists of “must-see” venues. The latest accolades come courtesy of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Reporter Gil LeBreton, who writes for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, provided the AJC with a list of the “100 Sports Things To See Before You Die.”
An Army football game at Michie Stadium is 33rd where LeBreton cites “go in the fall when the leave are changing colors and you’ll see why George Washington hand-picked this place.”
The Army-Navy football rivalry is listed 43rd and boasts of the rich emotion in the annual clash between service academy rivals.
