Fillis Named Assistant AD For Development

WEST POINT, N.Y. Doug Fillis has been elevated to the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Development, it was announced recently by Army’s Associate Athletic Director for External Operations, Nate Pine.
Fillis joined the Army Athletic Association in 2005 as a marketing assistant and was promoted to Development Associate in 2006. In his new role, Fillis will be responsible for the overall annual fundraising for the Army “A” Club.
In addition, Fills will also coordinate and cultivate donors in addition to other responsibilities. Fillis came to West Point following an internship with the athletic department at Pace University in Pleasantville, N.Y.
Fillis earned his bachelor’s degree in Media Studies in 2003 from Sacred Heart University and completed his master’s degree in Mass Communication from Iona College in 2006. He is enrolled in a post-graduate degree program in Sport Management at New York University.
