WEST POINT, N.Y. The Army “A” Club closed out a record-setting year in 2006 by reaching an all-time high of $2.78 million raised to support West Point’s cadet-athletes. The “A” Club hopes to build on that success in the 2007 campaign, which is already well under way.
The recent success of the “A” Club can be attributed to wide array of loyal Army fans spread throughout the country. The Army Athletic Association hopes that all 6,500 “A” Club members from 2006 return to the fold this year.
The Army “A” Club provides members with valuable benefits such as premium parking at football games, preferred seat locations at various events, and priority points. However, most “A” Club members consider enhancing the cadet-athletes’ experience during their time at the Military Academy, the greatest benefit of all.
The “A” Club will continue with 110% Program in 2007. All members who give 110% of their gift from last year, as well as new members who give at least $110, will receive a Black Knights Car Emblem. Information regarding the 110% Program and the 2007 “A” Club brochure will be mailed out on March 1.
Individuals interested in supporting our cadet-athletes may send a check to the Army “A” Club at 639 Howard Road West Point, NY 10996. Those wishing to make a credit card donation can do so by calling 845-938-2322 or by doing so online at the following link:
