Michie Stadium Information
Security Notice
The following security measures will be in place at the United States Military Academy and Michie Stadium for the 2006 football season:
- All entrance gates to the Academy will be opened for football games, and traffic will be directed to designated parking areas. Fans will be transported via shuttle bus to the stadium.
- Any vehicle that departs from the designated free-flow traffic routes will be directed to a vehicle search area.
- Gates to Michie Stadium will open two hours prior to kickoff
- All fans must pass through metal detectors at the stadium gates.
- All bags will be subject to searches upon entry.
Security at West Point remains high. Guests should ARRIVE EARLY AND EXPECT DELAYS.
Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited from Michie Stadium: bags (except diaper bags), backpacks, umbrellas, artificial noisemakers, laser pointers, containers of any kind, coolers, bottles, cans and animals (except service animals to aid guests with disabilities). The possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is also prohibited inside Michie Stadium.
Phones
Public pay telephones are located at Gates 2 of Michie Stadium.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted in Hoffman Press Box, Kimsey Athletic Center, Randall Hall or the seating areas of Michie Stadium.
Rest Rooms
Public restrooms and handicapped-access restrooms are located throughout Michie Stadium.
First Aid Information
The First Aid Station is located underneath Section 25. In case of emergency, please notify the nearest usher or the Military Police.
Tailgating
Tailgating is permitted in all West Point parking lots but must not interfere with adjacent parking spaces or thoroughfares. The Army Athletic Association’s External Operations Office will reserve tailgate sites for interested groups. For more information about purchasing a reserved tailgate site, tents, and catering, please call 1-877-TIX-ARMY.
Cadet Parade
A cadet parade will be conducted on “The Plain,” weather permitting, prior to each home football game. Check the Army Athletics Web site at www.goARMYsports.com for parade times once game times are set.
Concessions
Concession stands are located throughout Michie Stadium. Special delivery requests, box lunches for groups and tailgate catering can be accommodated by phoning (845) 938-7732.
Lost and Found
Following the game, all inquiries regarding lost items should be made to the Provost Marshall’s Office, Bldg. 616, or by phoning (845) 938-5207 or (845) 938-3333. During the game, contact your nearest usher for information on retrieving lost items.
Public Address
Messages for the public address announcer are accepted only for medical emergencies and must be approved by the director of athletic communications.
Tickets
Tickets ordered the week of the game will be held at the “Reservation” window at Gate 3. Please bring proper identification. Tickets will be sold on game day at Gates 1 and 3. Children ages 1 year and under are not required to have a ticket. Gates will open two hours prior to kickoff. Tickets may be purchased by calling 1-877-TIX-ARMY.
Handicapped Services
Handicapped parking accommodations are located in H Lot. A handicapped license plate, state registration or handicapped parking pass is required to gain entrance to the area.
Shuttle buses depart regularly from H Lot to Michie Stadium. A wheelchair-accessible bus will transport fans to Gate 6. Fans, without wheelchairs, in need of assistance will be dropped off at Gates 3 and 6. All fans should meet their postgame shuttle bus at their respective drop-off points. Wheelchair seating is located at the top of Sections 8 through 11 and 14 through 17.
Shuttle Bus Service
Free shuttle bus service is provided from the West Point parking lots to the parade ground and Michie Stadium. Each lot is color-coded corresponding to each color-coded bus route. Postgame shuttle bus departure points are:
