Mary List was a member of Army national championship-winning mile relay squad and was twice named an All-American.
A member of the Class of 1985, List held the school record in four events at the time of her graduation and currently owns the Academy record in the 800 meters.
A team captain of the 1984 squad, List won Indoor Heptagonal top honors in the 200-meter dash and an Outdoor Heptagonal championship as part of the 1,600-meter relay team.
During Lists' four years, the Black Knights posted a 26-3 record in cross country. Army recorded a 14-6 indoor mark in track and field, while posting a 16-1 outdoor record.
