Haque was a four-year letterwinner, his career was highlighted by his All-American season in 1994, following a sixth-place finish in the still rings at the NCAA Championships. He was a two-time NCAA qualifier on the Still Rings and was a two-time EIGL Still Rings champion. He was among the eight national finalists for the Nissen Award, handed out to the country's top male gymnast and ranked as high as No. 3 in 1993.
