Edward Hickey

Hickey, a three-time letterwinner, was the recipient of the initial Beukema Award as the team's most valuable player in 1955. During his career he totaled 90 points and netted 46 goals in three seasons. The hockey program posted a 33-17 record during his career. Following his playing days he served as an assistant coach (1959-60 and 1974-75), helping guide the team to a 16-5-1 record with Coach Jack Riley coaching at the 1960 Winter Olympics
