Anchor of an offensive line that led the football program to bowl game victories in 1984 and 1985, along with capturing the Commander in Chief’s Trophy in 1984. Served as captain of the 1985 team that won a program-record nine games, and became the first Army football player in 17 years to be named a First Team All-American. Received the Army Athletic Association Award as well as an NCAA postgraduate scholarship.
