Track All-American in 1983 who finished 3^rd at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 880-yard run. Set academy and indoor Heptagonal records, winning the 800-meter run his senior year, and qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Won 1983 Army Athletic Association Award. Set academy school indoor marks in the 1,000 meter run, and as member of the 3,200 meter relay and distance medley relay team.
