Alma Jo Cobb

A three-time All-American, Cobb was a dual sport standout, winning an NCAA championship in 1982 in the heptathlon and also competing for the women's basketball team. Cobb earned an All-American certificate in 1981 and two in 1982. She also owns the fourth-best discus throw in Academy history.
Cobb, a three-year letterwinner for the basketball team, was a two-time team captain and a member of the 25-3 squad that reached the NCAA Division II Tournament quarterfinals. She concluded her career with 875 points, 20th all-time, and 679 rebounds, which stands ninth on Army's career list.
