Bares Places Fifth at Penn Relays

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Lee Bares of the Army West Point men's track and field team competed in the pole vault at the historic Penn Relays.
The senior placed fifth of 12 competitors with a final height of 5.05m. He cleared the first height of 4.90m on his first try, and completed the next height of 5.05m on his second attempt, but after three tries was unable to clear the following height of 5.20m.
