HOW IT HAPPENED
PERIOD ONE (ARMY 1 – Air Force 1)

- It was a battle of the power play in the first stanza with Air Force getting on the board first with its man-advantage unit.
- The Falcons worked the puck along the blue line and passed it down to Evan Giesler who was waiting at the right dot. He redirected it past Bruns for the score.

- This tied the game at 1-1-.
PERIOD TWO (AIR FORCE 3 – ARMY 2)
- It continued to be a back-and-forth battle in the second frame.
- Army scored an even strength goal eight minutes into the period. Box dumped the puck to Andrle and he skated around the net with it and finally fired a shot near the Black Knights' bench.
- Wilson connected on the top of the crease to score for Army.
- Air Force bounced back with two straight goals in the frame.
PERIOD THREE (AIR FORCE 5 – ARMY 3)
