Army Opens Spring Practice on March 20

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point football team will begin its preparation for the 2018 season on Tuesday, March 20, as the Black Knights kickoff their spring football practices.
Head coach Jeff Monken embarks on his fifth season at the helm of the Black Knights and is coming off the program's second 10-win season in its history. Army won its fourth bowl in program history with an exciting last-minute win over San Diego State in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. For the second year in a row, the Black Knights came from behind to beat Navy with a fourth quarter drive in the snow to earn their second straight win over the Mids.
The Black Knights finished with a 10-3 mark and went undefeated at home with six victories at Michie Stadium.
Army will be holding its practices at Goldstein and Howze Fields as well as the Foley Athletic Center before convening at Michie Stadium for the spring game.
The Black Knights open the 2018 on the road at Duke on Sept. 1. Army will host Liberty (Sept. 8), Hawaii (Sept. 15), Miami (OH) (Oct. 20), Air Force (Nov. 3), Lafayette (Nov. 10) and Colgate (Nov. 17) at Michie Stadium this season.
All practices are open to the public and free of charge. Dates and times are subject to change. All practice times are TBA.
