Army’s Winning Streak Ends in Setback to UConn

BRADENTON, Fla. – The Army West Point women's tennis team saw its season-long, seven-match winning streak come to an end with a 5-2 setback against Connecticut on Monday at the IMG Academy.

The Black Knights dropped to 11-5 on the season, while the Huskies improved to 7-6 on the year.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES

Army fell to 17-3 in the all-time series with UConn.
The Huskies have won the past three meetings since 2015.
The Black Knights are now 0-2 in neutral site matches this season.
Alana Larcombe remained perfect in singles dual play, moving to 6-0.
It was her second win in the No. 6 position.
Sasha Inchauste won her 15th doubles match of the season.
The duo of Kirby Einck and Gloria Son captured their 10th doubles victory of the year.
