Nunn Earns GARC Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Junior Payne Nunn of the Army West Point rifle team earned All-Great America Rifle Conference honors this weekend at the GARC Championships.

Nunn earned All-Conference honorable mention in the smallbore discipline for the first time in his collegiate career. His season high in this discipline was a score of 585 against West Virginia.

The Virgilina, Va., native earned this title as he heads to the NCAA Championships where he has qualified to shoot in the air rifle discipline.

Nunn will compete in the GARC Championships this weekend and then move on to the NCAA Championships on March 9-10.
