Army Ranked in Bleacher Report's Top 25

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Following its exciting win over San Diego State in the Armed Forces Bowl, the Army West Point football received some national recognition from Bleacher Report and CBS Sports.

The Black Knights were voted by four of the college football reporters at Bleacher Report and Army cracked the Top 25 for the first time this season.

In addition to the ranking, Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports ranked the Armed Forces Bowl as the third best game of the bowl season, which included 39 bowl contests.

The Black Knights finished the season with 10 wins for only the second time in school history and won eight of their final nine games of the season to reach the milestone. Army also led the nation in rushing offense with 362.3 yards per game and had a total of 4,710 rushing yards in 2017.
