WEST POINT, NY – The Army West Point men's track and field team completed day one of the Penn State Invite on Friday evening.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES
Track EventsÂ
- Caleb Washington finished third in the 5000m clocking in at 14:56.25. Daniel Horoho finished in fourth with a time of 14:58.41.
- In the distance medley relay, Army claimed fifth place with a time of 10:12.87. The team consisted of Daniel Mazzei, Jeffrey Price, Christian Wright, and Alex Combs.
- Ross Puritty claimed seventh place in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.36 seconds.
Field Events
- Â Drew Bullen finished in fifth place in the long jump with a distance of 6.68m.
- In the pole vault, Lee Bares earned third place with a height of 5.10m. Joe Popek followed in eighth, jumping for a height of 4.35m.
- Army took three of the top 10 spots in the weight throw. Kenneth Brinson claimed sixth with a distance of 18.95m, Wyatt Doughty earned seventh with 17.16m, and Jacob Stauffer ended in eighth with 16.23m.
