Army West Point Athletics
On Point: Driving Forward
September 28, 2017 | Sprint Football
This year the Army West Point Athletic Association has rebranded Feature Friday into a video and written feature series called On Point. The new design to the stories will help fans connect to the cadet-athletes better than ever before.
On Point highlights the tremendous personal stories our coaches and cadet-athletes have to share on a weekly basis. Each week throughout the year, a new feature story will be prominently highlighted on GoArmyWestPoint.com. The features will include visual pieces, as well as written stories by media outlets and the Army West Point athletic communications staff.
Many athletes can face injuries within their respective sport throughout their careers, while some face physical hardships caused by life itself. For Seth Wills of the Army West Point sprint football team, he faced the latter.
During his senior year of high school, when the most of your worries should be where you're going to college and who you're taking to prom, Wills was the victim of a hit-and-run accident that cost him a scholarship to run track at UC San Diego. While some might let an accident like this put them down, Wills kept driving forward and started on a different path which led him to the U.S. Military Academy.
